Welcome to Reception!

Our team this year is Ms Douglas, Ms Mason and Ms Kelvin.

In Reception we focus on 7 areas of learning;

·         Personal, social and emotional

·         Communication and Language

·         Physical Development

·         Literacy

·         Maths

·         Understanding the World

·         Expressive Arts and Design

Every day the children participate in Phonics and Maths activities. During the week they complete guided reading, writing and topic activities.  The children also enjoy lots of physical and creative experiences including PE and Music with specialist teachers. Our aim is that the children can access a wealth of learning opportunities through a rich and varied environment.
