Science in Year 6
'In Science, we dissected a lamb's heart to find the arteries, veins and the different parts of the heart. We used a small scalpel to dissect the heart and found the tubes (blood vessels) coming in and out of the heart. The heart was squidgy and wobbly when we held it. There was a hard, white part of the heart which was the fat so we cut that bit off. It was really exciting and one of the most fun lessons ever (even though it was a bit disgusting!).'
